My Top 10 Baby/Toddler Items

These are all items I have personally used and LOVED as a young mom with two kids.

Hands down my favorite product. We used this every day. It folds flat so it was easy to travel with. It even folded flat enough to stick in our suitcase while flying. No crazy technology to deal with, easily washable for those blow outs that WILL happen, and just so well made. In my opinion, WORTH THE PRICE TAG.

We were never a big stroller family. I decided on the Cruz over the Vista simply because of the weight/size. I knew we wouldn't be able to transform our Cruz into a double stroller if we had another child (which we did, 22 months after the first), but it was never an issue for us. By the time Oliver was born, Elin was old enough (and excited enough) to ride on the Piggyback add on if she didn't feel like walking along side us. By the time Oliver was walking and running on his own, we sold the stroller and now we don't even have one! But I really did enjoy this stroller while we had it. Very well made and stands up to the abuse of toddlers!

We used these for both of our kids. It made swaddling so simple. Just have 2-4 on hand because newborns are constantly spitting up or pooping on them ;)

One of my girlfriends introduced these to me. We had been using the suction cup/pull down ones but they don't cover the whole window and streams of sunlight would still hit our kids' faces while we were driving. These cover the entire window and you can still roll the window up and down. We still use these and our kids are 2 and 4.

Truthfully I did not like how complicated this was to put on, but once it was on it was so comfortable and my kids enjoyed it too. What I loved most about this carrier was for traveling in the airport/flying. No buckles or snaps to make sitting in the small airplane seat uncomfortable!

No affiliate link here, just sharing my love for this big, obnoxious piece of kid furniture. Kids are going to climb no matter what, so give them something soft to climb on! Love the endless transformations this thing makes as it keeps my kids' imaginations running wild.

We got this after we sold our stroller. I wanted something with large wheels that we can take on the beach, and something collapsible. This fits both of our kids and all their 'stuff' on our adventures!

We also used this for both our kids. It's essentially a wearable blanket and they used this probably starting around 6 months old until their first birthday.

This was my bible, especially from newborn-18 months. I thrive on schedules in life, and that was no different when it came to having babies. My kids were sleeping through the night very early on, and any question I had I could find the answer in these books.

Perfectly made. Leak proof, cute colors. My kids get excited when they see it and I swear they are more likely to eat what I put in there versus putting it on plate. A must have if you have toddlers.

Other products I've used that were less than stellar:

I just think the technology on this sound machine isn't good. The app won't work sometimes. Or it will connect to Elin's room but not to Oliver's room and it's just annoying when I'm trying to get bedtime going.

Sometimes this thing can be our savior when we have long car rides and need to put something on for the kids, but again the technology on this thing is terrible. It's so slow and usually causes us more stress than not. We do have an older version than the one linked, so maybe they have gotten better.

Both of my kids liked this monstrocity, but if I had to choose between this and the Baby Bjorn bouncer I would choose the bouncer every time. Simply because the bounce is more functional, you can travel with it, and the price is better. This Mom-a Roo really does take up a lot of space.

I loved this thing for Elin, but barely used it for Oliver. If your baby has chunky thighs, good luck getting them in and out of this thing!!
