I had the pleasure of working a styled shoot at the lovely Separk Mansion back in November. Thanksgiving had just passed, and we still managed to get a great team of vendors on board even though it was a crazy time with the holiday. It was also 75 degrees that day...oh how I wish the weather would turn back to that because I am over these cold temps!
One wedding trend for 2018 that I have been reading about is 'out with the rustic, in with the woodsy look'. So the goal was to capture a winter wedding that portrayed classic elegance while with a cozy feel. Separk Mansion is the epitome of elegance, with gorgeous black and white marble floors, crown molding, chandeliers, and beautiful hardwoods. Evermore's furniture and china complimented the space beautifully and Julep Floral was able to bring that cozy feel to the table by adding birch candle holders mixed with gold elements...not to mention her gorgeous floral arrangements. Our models, Tiffany and Kevin, were a dream to work with. Their refined look was provided by The Tuxedo Lady and Fabulous Frocks of Charlotte. Danyell from Glammed & Groomed gave Tiffany a sultry look with polished hair and deep red lips. The creativity from Cake Me Away Bakery along with the invitation suite provided by Shop Surcie just brought all the elements of this shoot together. It was truly a beautiful collaboration!
